How We Review
This page explains how we create the guides, comparisons and reviews on Groshi - Personal Finance Made Simple.
Research, not lab testing
Our guides are research-based: we compile and compare publicly available information, including official websites and documentation, reputable publications and organizations, and patterns across independent expert and user reviews.
What we look at
- Fees, interest rates (APY/APR) and how they compare — always with the date we checked
- Eligibility and credit requirements
- FDIC or NCUA insurance and how the provider is regulated
- App experience, customer support and real customer feedback
- Hidden costs, penalties and fine print
Not financial advice
Our content is for general information and education only. It is not personalized financial, investment, tax or legal advice. Rates, fees and terms change often, so always confirm the latest details with the provider and consider speaking to a qualified professional before making major financial decisions.
Keeping guides up to date
Things change quickly. We revisit our guides periodically and update them when important details change. The “Updated” date at the top of each article shows when it was last revised.
Independence
Recommendations are never sold. Affiliate commissions, where they exist, do not influence what we recommend or in what order. See our Affiliate Disclosure.
